Creative, Fun, and Professional!
Barbara Potter Photography is a full-service photography studio currently located in the Historic Train Depot district in Smyrna, TN and will be opening a new studio at the Smyrna/Rutherford County Airport off Fitzhugh Road sometime in the Fall.
Barbara is a two-time (2020 and 2018) Photographer of the Year with NIMA (Nashville Industry Music Awards.) She is a very active member of the Professional Photographers of America, including serving as a PPA Councilor and currently serves on the Tennessee Professional Photographers Association executive board as the Chairman of the Board. She has received many awards at the state and international print competitions.
Her early beginning in concert photography naturally led to creating creative images for artist albums, websites, and marketing. This has evolved into providing a complete line of portrait photography services such as corporate and creative headshots, branding, family, maternity, engagements, and boudoir.
She is an active member the Rotary Club of Smyrna and S.I.M.A (Smyrna Independent Merchants Association.) She resides in Smyrna, TN with her husband Ben and their two pomsky pups, Rosie and Lillie. In her free time, she loves listening to live music, traveling, gardening and volunteers for Meals on Wheels.
